Why Dog-Styler Flauschige?

For 30 years, I truly loved being a kindergarten teacher but during the pandemic, I discovered my new passion as a groomer!

While in lock-down, I got closer than ever to my dog Fluffy.  She was my sole companion for a few months and I found myself being her groomer as well as her dog-mom.  I really enjoyed the work and decided I wanted to take up grooming full time.

After the lock-downs finished I went to the San Diego Grooming Academy and took their full course of instruction.  After that, they asked me to stay on as an instructor.

My true passion is providing a safe one-on-one grooming experience for your fur-baby.  I keep costs down by grooming on my property but provide a premium service with only the best products.  My work space is small so I can focus on one at a time.  I don't provide day-care, boarding, or other services so I can give your loved one my full attention.

But why Flauschige?  Flauschige is German for Fluffy.  While living in Germany we learned this from the sweet old lady across the street who would give our Fluffy treats whenever we walked by.  We miss her and I named my business in honor of her memory.
